Back in June, my sis Tracy from Prism of Threads came to Kauai for a few weeks. She brought with her some of her amazing painted silk dresses. A perfect opportunity for me to pull out my camera. Most of my early twenties were spent in the dark room. I thought for sure I had discovered my hearts calling being behind the lens. After moving to NY to work as a photographer, I got lost in the rat race and so did my photography. I am grateful to have this tool under my belt and I am having an amazing time re exploring this beautiful art. Naia chose to be a little wild flower that day so I had her on my breast in one hand and a camera in the other. Phew! Aloha!

What camera do you use?
Thank you!! Tracy and I always have so much fun creating together! Love you T!! I used a canon 5D to shoot these... And even an iPhone for one! Can't tell a difference! These dresses were so perfect here on Kauai because they are like Hawaiian mumus in way but more flattering!! 2012 mumus!
I grew up in Kilauea... I miss the North Shore. Mahalo for the camera info... My dream is to own a 5D one day... I use a rebel xTi for now :-). Aloha!
